Camino Day 39: Ribadiso da Baixo to

We are now only 13 miles from Santiago! We spent the day walking through oak and eucalyptus groves, enveloped in their sharp, spicy smell. It was easy today to take our time, to savor the small things, knowing it is almost over. We climbed most of the day, gaining and losing the same 100 meters of elevation over and over again. Tomorrow, we will walk only 10 miles, stopping just short of Santiago; we will enter the city at sunrise the following morning.
